I confess I'm no hardcore RTS player, I just like playing this games once in a while, but I think they should at least have extended the time befdore the AI shows up with heavy and elite units. I always build a power plantt, a raffinery and then the barracs at the beginning of the match and then I dig myself into my base until my army is large enough to crush the enemy in one strike, but this always worked very well in every game so far. Maybe it's due to the way I play the game, I don't know. I played a lot against the AI in C&C Generals+ Zero Hour and also played skirmishes in all Dawn of War games, but none of them was that difficult on Normal like Tiberium Wars. I know Normal has to be harder than Easy, but how this is scaled in Tiberium Wars is completely insane. i can't exactly tell how much time it takes, but approximately after 10 to 13 minutes the AI is already spamming me with heavy vehicles like Stealth Tanks for example while I'm just building the first tanks and 5 minutes later I get crashed by wave after wave of Avatars, to stay with NOD. Well Easy is easy like it should be, but Normal already feels like I would play on Hard compared to other RTS games. Especially between Easy and Normal difficulty.
